Phyllis Emma, NP-P
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Phyllis Emma, NP-PMs.Emma was born in Brooklyn, New York and was raised in Howard Beach. She received both BSN and MS degrees from the State University at Stony Brook where she was certified as a nurse practitioner in psychiatry. Ms.Emma has extensive experience in the field of Behavioral Health, treating children, adolescents, and adults with various psychiatric problems. She has worked in the psychiatric emergency room of a local hospital on Staten Island for seven years where she was in charge of the emergency observation area. She was also employed for 12 years at Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn where she was a nurse in charge. Ms.Emma was also working at the Institute for Community Living for a number of years, where she was in charge of in-house services for treatment resistant patients. In addition, Ms.Emma has unique expertise in working as a forensic psychiatric nurse practitioner on Rikers Island, where she provided care and prescribed medications for inmates with mental health problems.

 

Detty Darly, NP-P
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Detty Darly, NP-PWhen it comes to dealing with traumatic experiences and stressful factors of life, Detty Darly has mastered the art of winning hearts of the mentally challenged. Her warm personality and passion in healing is her major approach towards her clients. Detty brought her career to maturity by completing her fellowship at Crasmere Psychiatric Services, PC where she gained deeper insight in aiding individuals, couples and groups.

Prior to joining Crasmere, Detty started her career as staff nurse at South Beach Psychiatric Center where she provided professional nursing services including health counseling and provision of restorative care. Her devotion towards her profession helped her reach position as the Nurse Co ordinator where she led a team of nurses and mental health technicians.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Yenepoya University, Mangalore, India and Masters degree with an emphasis as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Hunter College, New York City. She is professionaly affiliated with American Nurses Association since 2016.

 

Sharon Curley, NP-P
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Sharon Curley, NP-PMs. Curley was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. She received her initial AAS nursing degree from the College of Staten Island in 1986 and her BSN form Excelsior College in 2007.

She worked in pediatrics, outpatient and emergency settings in both Staten Island University Hospital and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. She also worked for the NYCDOH/ Nurse Family Partnership- Targeted Citywide Initiative, providing case management, education and health surveillance to the highest risk underprivileged first time mothers in NYC and their children, visiting them in setting such as homeless shelters, Riker’s, juvenile detention facilities and foster care placements.

She attended Wagner College where she received an MS degree and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Curley has extensive experience in the field of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, treating children and adolescents with various medical, developmental, behavioral and psychiatric problems. She also worked at various settings, providing primary care in pediatric, residential substance abuse facilities and colleges. She obtained a Post Master’s certificate from Stony Brook University in 2018 and became certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, expanding upon her knowledge in the field of family mental health.

She has an expertise in ADHD, Autism Spectrum disorders and the various behavioral/psychiatric challenges associated with it. She works with all ages, providing caring compassionate care.
